bbpress font not changing and post’s sidebar possible removal

Hello,

I’m relatively new to WordPress so apologies if I’m asking some blatantly obvious questions:

1. I’ve noticed that my bbpress forum doesn’t pick up the fonts selected in the Theme Options menu. Is my best solution for this to manually
set it in the bbpress.css?

2. When creating a post it provides the option to have the sidebar position to the Right/Left. Am I able to disable it when viewing a single post through changing a .php file in the “Theme Editor”?
