Cannot set sidebar position in post

I have a freshly installed wordpress and the gameaddict theme ..

My issue is that when i view the post .. it doesnt take the full length of the screen but has a reserved area on the right side.

How can this be removed or is it a bug with the new update of wordpress ?? (that exact same issue happened once before with a wordpress upgrade).

I just want to make sure I’m not the one doing something wrong.
