can’t get the silder to work like the demo

like the title said , i’v looked around here and all the answers did not fix my problem

what i did was creating a page and made it a static home  page coz otherwise theres no way to show the home in the menu

then i added a template to that page for future blogs

but how can i get the silder above that page and under the menu just like the demo please help .
