Child Theme and Possible Bugs?

For everything it works great, however I’ve noticed two things and wondered if you can help:

1. For posts, the sidebar position drop down is blank until I copy the two files “tmp-1right-sidebar.php” and “tmp-2left-sidebar.php” to the child theme directory. While I have modified these now and need them to be in the child theme, thought it would use the parent theme files?

2. I want to either create my own blocks for use in Pagebuilder or change some of yours existing blocks. However I don’t know if this is supported in the child theme, as putting new versions in the directory structure means the theme doesn’t use it.
