Commenting without reloading page?

Before buying the there I asked about this functionality and was told it’s there. At least i was asking about moving the comment form below the comment I’m actually answering to. So I’ve never returned to that topic.

Now when everything is ready to launch I find out that clicking reply button just reloads the page and doesn’t move the form it stays after all the comments and just says “reply to…”. Really unacceptable in the age when even the crappy default wordpress themes have the needed functionality.

On top of that general ways of activating the feature don’t work at all (like adding <?php if ( is_singular() ) wp_enqueue_script( ‘comment-reply’ ); ?> to the header and stuff).

Is there any way to insert the needed functionality or any chance of it to be included in future updates?
