Funding press access problems

I just acquired fundingpress theme and I seem to have an awful lot of problems with it.

I installed the theme,setup up the configurations and registered a new user (other than administrator).

When I login as that user I can not create a new project, update paypal information or anything else

I constantly get the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” error.
