Install Demo Data Breaks Site

I had my host recently remove all my previous content and wp. I had wp reinstalled and my host gave me a new username and password.

I installed Arcane last night.
Was going step by step through read me/index file.

The buddy press had a bunch of warnings. Still worked so I didn’t care.

Got to the Demo Data, went through steps, and as I was waiting for the “success” message a dialog box popped up asking me to login, my time had expired. The uploading was only like 10 sec, but I signed back in. When I did, I got the error message I’m attaching.

Site is running, except can’t login, my username and password don’t work. When I register as another account, the activation email isn’t sent.

Plus, I have code all over my front page.

What steps should I go through, or suggestions for a fix?
