Request to Join button issue – Arcane

I’m having issues with the Request to join button under any given team page. Upon pressing the “Request to Join” button, it does not return an alert of any kind, the button remains the same. However when I go to leave a team, the button disappears and is replaced with a message informing me that I have left the team. Is this the intended result of the request to join button? If so, it would be really confusing for users as it doesn’t seem to actively show a response. Is there a way to resolve this issue?
