Respawn theme update 1.4

I went ahead and updated and activated the latest Respawn theme update 1.4 released this week and ’m getting this error when trying to get to the page after activating it:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘if’ (T_IF) in /home/*****/public_html/wp-content/themes/respawn_new/includes/functions/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 1
There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

I also had the hosting company helping looking into this and helping me out and they asked that I contact you for support.
