WordPress database update problem / Insufficient permissions problem

After installing WordPress 4.0 fresh from a zip-file from the official wordpress website, then activating the Fundingpress theme and importing the demo files/demo page successfully, I’ve gotten the following message:

Database Update Required
WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update your database to the newest version.
The update process may take a little while, so please be patient.

After pressing the continue button it reloads the page and displays the following message:

Update Complete
Your WordPress database has been successfully updated!

After pressing continue, I get the following error message:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

Any help would be appreciated.
